Burn Families – Move to Improve Program

We have exciting news for our burn families! Perth Children's Hospital (PCH) has places available in the Move to Improve (M2I) program—a specialised initiative designed to support children and adolescents with ongoing health conditions, including burn injuries, to increase their physical activity and overall wellbeing.

M2I is also a research study, evaluating the long-term benefits of physical activity for young people. Participants will take part in an 8-week personalised program, with follow-up assessments over 14 months to track progress and outcomes. Sessions are delivered at PCH, in the community, or via telehealth, depending on individual needs.

If your child is at least six weeks post-burn injury and under the care of a PCH medical team, they may be eligible to participate.
