One bucket list experience. One worthy cause. One unforgettable day.
On the 24th and 25th of October, 65 incredible people took on the Central Park Plunge 2025 in support of the Fiona Wood Foundation. Together, stepping out of their comfort zones, conquering their fears, and raising vital funds to help us continue to bring science to the bedside.
It was inspiring to see our community come together from burn families and charity partners to corporate teams, supporters, and our own research and clinical teams. The energy, encouragement, and camaraderie across the event dayscaptured the very essence of what the Plunge is all about: people helping people.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made the day possible every Plunger, every donor, every cheerleader, and every volunteer who kept things running seamlesslyA special shout-out goes to our rope pull team Lachie, Gerry, Pauric, Steve, and Dan for taking on one of the most physical roles of the day.We’re so grateful for your continued support year after year, and a special mention to Lachie for being crowned our unofficial MVP Rope Puller of 2025! We are also grateful to The Good Grocer Myaree and Princi for keeping our crew fuelled.
This year marked ten years of the Central Park Plunge and we want to congratulate and thank Zenith Events, especially Ralph and Braydan, for delivering another exceptional experience and for their continued partnership in helping charities across WA make a difference.
Together, our Plungers have raised an extraordinary $136,132 - INCREDIBLE! To everyone who took part, supported, or cheered from the sidelines: thank you for helping us continue the important work we do.
