The Fiona Wood Foundation, in partnership with The Ian Potter Foundation and Cynthia Banham, is pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Cynthia Banham Burn Injury Research Fellowship.
The fellowship is named in honor of Cynthia Banham, a former Sydney Morning Herald foreign affairs and defense journalist who sustained severe injuries in the Yogyakarta air disaster in March 2007. Cynthia's journey to recovery from burns under the care of Fiona and the Burns Service of WA inspired her to support research and the advancement of burn care to improve the quality of life for burn survivors.
