Fire Australia 2025 Gala Dinner Charity Raffle

As the proud charity partner of FPA Australia, the Fiona Wood Foundation is pleased to present the inaugural Fire Australia Gala Dinner Charity Raffle, to be held during the 2025 Fire Australia Conference and Awards Gala Dinner on Wednesday, 14 May 2025 at the Fullerton Hotel Sydney.

Proceeds from the raffle will support the FPA Australia Scholarship a postgraduate research scholarship awarded to a Master’s or PhD student undertaking burns research through the FWF. This support enables us to continue expanding the body of knowledge across the entire patient journey from the point of injury to long-term recovery. It is work that changes lives and improves patient outcomes, so that people do not just survive their injuries, but thrive.

This raffle would not be possible without the generous support of the fire protection community. We gratefully acknowledge Fire Australia, Fire Protection Association Australia, Elit Lawyers, MRC Foundation, Event Building Services Recruitment Australia, Wormald, Aquip, and Whipper Snapper Distillery for their contributions.

Di has headed over to attend the Fire Australia Trade Show, where she is looking forward to connecting with FPA Australia and their members and sharing the Foundation’s work with attendees. Fiona will join her at the Gala Dinner, where she has been invited to deliver the keynote address.

Raffle Draw

Date: Wednesday, 14 May 2025
Time: Draw will take place during the Gala Dinner (between 7:00 PM and 11:30 PM)
Venue: The Grand Ballroom, Fullerton Hotel
Address: 1 Martin Place, Sydney NSW

Winners will be announced during the event and contacted via email if not present. Results will be published on the Fiona Wood Foundation website within 48 hours and remain accessible for at least 28 days.

Ticket Purchase

Tickets are available via the Shout for Good platform and will also be sold during the Gala Dinner.

  • 1 ticket – $25

  • 3 tickets – $60

  • 5 tickets – $110

Official donation receipts will be issued automatically via email. Ticket purchases may be tax-deductible, subject to applicable legislation.

Prize Collection

Date: Thursday, 15 May 2025
Time: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (AEST)
Location: Reception stand, Fire Australia 2025 Tradeshow
Venue: International Convention Centre (ICC), Sydney

If a prize has specific collection requirements, details will be printed on the winner’s ticket. Uncollected prizes may be donated back to FPA Australia at their discretion.

Prize Pool Total: $16,357

Eligibility and Terms

The raffle is open to all Fire Australia 2025 conference attendees aged 18 years and over. It is conducted by the Fiona Wood Foundation Inc. (ABN 65 993 189 366), under NSW Charitable Fundraising Authority CFN/25174.

Employees of the Foundation, members of the raffle organising team, and their immediate families are not eligible to enter. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or transferable.
