The Fiona Wood Foundation is proud to continue its valued partnership with FPA Australia as the official charity partner for the upcoming 2025 Fire Australia Conference and Awards Gala Dinner, taking place in Sydney from 13–15 May.
As part of this ongoing relationship, the Foundation will host an inaugural charity raffle, with all proceeds supporting the FPA Australia Scholarship. This scholarship provides funding for a student undertaking a research Master’s or PhD program in the field of burn injury prevention, treatment, and care—an essential investment in the future of medical research and clinical excellence.
The raffle will be drawn during the Fire Australia Awards Gala Dinner on Wednesday, 14 May, and the Foundation is now calling on FPA Australia members to get involved by donating products or services to be included as raffle prizes.
By contributing, donors will receive:
- Exposure at one of the fire protection industry’s leading national events
- A gift-in-kind receipt for their donation
- The opportunity to directly support critical, life-changing burn care research

The charity raffle will be conducted in accordance with the Community Gaming Act 2018 (NSW) and the Community Gaming Regulation 2020 (NSW), ensuring full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing charitable gaming activities in New South Wales.
