Make a splash with FWF at the 2026 Mader Port to Pub

The Mader Port to Pub returns in 2026 as one of Western Australia’s most iconic open water swimming events, and FWF is inviting our community to take part and support burn injury research.

Taking place on Saturday, 21 March 2026, the swim crosses the Rottnest Channel from Leighton Beach to Rottnest Island. Participants can enter as a solo swimmer, duo, or team, allowing people to choose an option that best suits their experience, fitness, and goals.

For those new to the event, there are a few key dates to keep in mind. Registrations opened on 6 November 2025, with standard entry pricing closing on 15 February 2026. Late registrations will remain open until 27 February 2026, which is also the final day to register.

Each participation option offers a different experience. Solo swimmers take on the full crossing and require significant preparation, including a qualifying open water swim. Duos share the distance and responsibility, while team entries follow a relay format and are a popular option for friends, families, and workplace groups looking to train and take part together.

By swimming in support of FWF, participants help turn an iconic WA challenge into meaningful support for people affected by burn injury, contributing to research and care that improves recovery and quality of life.
