Last Saturday night, the Court Hotel lit up for the launch of the 2026 Perth Firefighters Calendar. Since 2008, this much-loved initiative has raised more than $2.2 million for the Perth Children’s Hospital Burn Service through the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation, supporting specialist care for young burn patients across Western Australia.
Di from FWF and members of the clinical team attended the launch to acknowledge the firefighters who commit their time each year to producing the calendar. Their long-standing involvement has helped build an initiative that provides year after year meaningful support for children and families.
A highlight of the evening was the announcement of more than $129,000 raised from the sales from last year’s Calendar. Rachel, Burns Consultant at Perth Children’s Hospital, accepted the contribution on behalf of the burns team. This is an outstanding result and demonstrates the dedication of everyone involved, from the firefighters in front of the camera to the organisers, PCHF team and community members who purchase a calendar.
A huge shout out to the firefighters for putting themselves out there, the calendar committee, the Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation team and every person who bought a calendar. Your support continues to make a difference for children and families navigating the impact of burn injury.
