Team Swimmed Alive Takes on the South32 Rottnest Channel Swim

With the South32 Rottnest Channel Swim just days away, we are proud to have Team Swimmed Alive taking on this challenge in support of the Fiona Wood Foundation. Their commitment goes beyond the physical test—they are swimming to improve the lives of burn patients, helping to fund vital research and care.

All five teammates went to high school together, and it was Jack who first suggested supporting the foundation. While he has not personally experienced burn injuries, he and his family understand the importance of specialist medical care when facing life’s challenges. Having undergone multiple surgeries for cerebral palsy, Jack has never let anything hold him back. This year, he is taking on the Rottnest Channel Swim with his mates—pushing his limits once again.

A special thank you to Drakesbrook Fine Wines, whose $2,532 donation helped the team reach their fundraising goal. However, as the team has said:

"Whilst we have reached that goal, we realise the importance of having an incredible and dedicated medical support team behind you cannot be quantified, and so we are determined to raise as much as we can."

As race day approaches, we are wishing them every success. If you would like to show your support, every donation, big or small, helps make a tangible difference - Donate here
