We know that for Aboriginal people, leaving Country for treatment of a burn injury poses challenges and cultural security concerns.
We are so proud to support this project. The Fiona Stanley Hospital Aboriginal Health Liaison Officer team, in conjunction with the Fiona Wood Foundation and audio-visual company Crawlin Crocodile, have produced an animated video to assist our non-metropolitan Aboriginal burns patients.
You can download a poster to print off and provide to your patient, before they commence their journey to the Burns Unit.
