A new website for the FWF
Discover the new-look Fiona Wood Foundation website, designed to make our research, information and opportunities easier to find and explore.
Our new-look FWF website is now live, with a refreshed design and a clearer way for our community to explore the Foundation’s work.
As our work has expanded across burns research, education, prevention, and community engagement, we recognised the need to modernise our website and reconsider how we organise and present information. The redevelopment has focused not only on how the website looks, but on how well it serves the people who use it.
Burn survivors and families, researchers, healthcare professionals, donors, partners and community supporters come to the Foundation for different reasons, with different information needs. We have therefore reorganised content across the site to create clearer pathways to relevant information and make the breadth of our work easier to navigate.
The new website gives greater visibility to our research, the people and partnerships behind it, and the many ways our community can support or become involved with the Foundation. It also gives us greater flexibility to share research progress, news and opportunities as they emerge.
The next phase will be developing a dedicated FWF intranet, an important investment in how we work internally. By bringing key information, policies, procedures and resources together in one place, the intranet will support communication, collaboration and knowledge sharing across our team.
Together, these developments strengthen the digital infrastructure that supports both our external engagement and the way we work across the Foundation.
