The Stan Perron Charitable Foundation exists to continue Stan Perron’s legacy of giving for the benefit of the Western Australian community, the disadvantaged and those who need a helping hand. Since 1978, the Foundation has supported thousands of individuals and organisations across the State, with a focus on creating meaningful and lasting impact.

The Foundation’s support for the WA Comprehensive Centre for Childhood Burns is helping advance a shared vision: that no child is defined by their burn injury and every child has the opportunity to live a full, healthy life.

Perth Children’s Hospital Foundation is dedicated to transforming the healthcare of WA children by funding research, innovation, equipment and programs that help deliver better care and outcomes for children and their families.

PCHF has played an important role in advancing childhood burns research and innovation, supporting FWF across a range of research studies, technologies and initiatives. This philanthropic investment has helped our researchers explore new approaches to burn treatment and healing, generate new knowledge and improve our understanding of the long-term physical and psychological impacts of burn injury.

Through this longstanding relationship, PCHF continues to help create opportunities for research and innovation that can improve the lives of children who experience a burn injury and their families.

Telethon has a long history of supporting the health and wellbeing of children across Western Australia, funding research and initiatives that help create better outcomes for children and their families.

FWF has been a beneficiary of Telethon funding across a range of childhood burns research and innovation projects. This support has helped advance our understanding of the physical and psychological impacts of burn injury, explore new approaches to treatment and recovery, and improve long-term outcomes for children who experience a burn injury.

We also acknowledge the Western Australian community, whose continued support of Telethon helps us continue to bring science to the bedside. 

The Ian Potter Foundation is one of Australia’s major philanthropic foundations. It provides grants to charitable organisations across Australia to benefit the community in areas including the arts, medical research, public health research, early childhood development, community wellbeing, and environmental science. Its aim is to support a healthy, vibrant, fair, and sustainable Australia.

The Foundation facilitates the Cynthia Bantham Burn Injury Research Fellowship, a $100,000 award provided every two years to the Fiona Wood Foundation. The fellowship supports plastic surgeon trainees to undertake burn patient research.

Fire Protection Association Australia (FPA Australia) is the national peak body for fire safety and the fire protection industry. It is a not-for-profit organisation and charitable institution that seeks to improve community safety, representing almost 1,800 companies and organisations (and up to 30,000 people), that provide, use, or support fire protection services and products.
