Ask R U OK? Any Day

In our work, we have the privilege of meeting some of the most resilient, selfless, kind, giving, caring and passionate people. None more courageous than burn survivors, their carers and loved ones. In our work, we have the privilege of meeting some of the most resilient, selfless, kind, giving, caring and passionate people.

None more courageous than burn survivors, their carers and loved ones.

Many who share their stories with us tell us that once the physical scars have healed, the ones you cannot see often take longer.

It is an important reminder that we may never know everything someone is carrying just by looking from the outside.

On R U OK? Day, it feels especially important to remind our burn community that support is available whenever it is needed.

Our Support Resources include emotional and psychological support, peer support, services for children and young people, and resources for families and carers.

You can also join our Burn Family community to stay connected, informed and part of a community shaped by shared experience.

R U OK? Day is a reminder, not a one-time event. Take a moment to check in with someone in your world. And if they’re on your mind tomorrow, next week or any day after that, ask again.
