Lived experience research opportunity
EOI Ember to Empower
We’re inviting burn survivors and families to share their perspectives and insights to help co-design a new burn recovery toolkit. Expressions of interest open.
Story
Ember to Empower is a national research study developing and piloting a one-stop burn recovery toolkit for people with lived experience of burn injury and their families.
The toolkit is being co-developed with people with lived experience to bring trusted information, resources and support together in one place for people following burn injury.
As part of this national study, the Fiona Wood Foundation, alongside our research partners, is planning to host a Western Australian consumer engagement event in 2027.
The event will invite people aged 12 years and over with lived experience of burn injury, as well as family members, carers and support people, to share their perspectives and insights to help inform the ongoing development of the toolkit.
