At the Fiona Wood Foundation, people are at the heart of everything we do. Our research brings together burn survivors, their families, researchers, and clinical teams working in partnership to ensure people not only survive their injuries but recover and thrive.

Our Research Buddy Program connects burn survivors and families directly with our research team. We believe that when people with lived experience join our research, their insights ensure we ask the right questions, focus on what truly matters, and develop innovations that create real impact.
